Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our team at Blue Arrow Sheffield. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Cook and prepare high-quality dishes to meet the expectations of our clients.
  • Supervise all kitchen stations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Assist the Head Chef in creating new menu items, recipes, and developing dishes to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Be responsible for food hygiene practices, ensuring that all food is handled and prepared in accordance with industry standards.
  • Assist with determining food inventory needs, stocking, and ordering to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and prepared for service.
Requirements
  • Hold an enhanced DBS disclosure dated within the last 12 months.
  • Hold a food hygiene level 2 or above certificate dated within the last 3 years, or be willing to obtain one.
  • Have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle, as our clients are based across South Yorkshire.
Working Hours

Shifts are available 7 days a week, and you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
