About the Role
Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly motivated and academically strong Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Grange and Lodge.
Job Summary
We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the Qualified Psychologist with assessments, scoring and reporting, clinical formulation and implementing care plans, planning, delivering and evaluating individual and group programmes, and administration, audit, research and service development.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to assessments, scoring and reporting
- Develop and implement care plans for psychological treatment
- Plan, deliver and evaluate individual and group programmes
- Support with administration, audit, research and service development
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent
- BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited
- Qualified to Masters degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)
- Experience in healthcare and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role (preferable)
- Passionate about neurorehabilitation, learning and working as part of a team
