Job Title: Asset Quality and Contract Manager

The Asset Quality and Contract Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of digital assets and contracts within the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. This position will be responsible for maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensuring that all digital assets are properly configured and compliant with licensing laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT service management, with experience in managing complex asset inventory tools and software legislation. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including technology teams and suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure that all digital assets are properly configured and compliant with licensing laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement a Quality Assurance framework within Digital Services, including the implementation of processes and training required for Digital Staff.
  • Establish strong liaison with Services to support software and asset management within the Trust.
  • Build strong relationships with Suppliers of assets and software to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Lead on Contracts Management within the Service Management function, ensuring that contracts are in line with SLAs and OLAs and renewed or tendered in line with Trust procedures.
  • Provide data reports into Digital Services Senior Leadership Team and Trust wide Service Reviews for all information relating to assets, software, and contracts.
Requirements:
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience.
  • ITIL Service Management Foundation Version 4 or equivalent.
  • Specialist knowledge of software legislation and license types.
  • Customer Service Qualification.
  • Prince 2 foundation or practitioner.

Salary: £51,883 to £58,544 a year per annum inclusive of HCAS
