As part of a thriving and expanding organization, the demand for a skilled and effective Maintenance team is crucial. They seek an individual who can contribute positively from the outset and appreciate the advantages of collaborating with a supportive and diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to your Supervisor regarding all matters related to electrical, plumbing, and compressor upkeep.
  • Address any urgent situations and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks to personnel and visitors while minimizing company losses.
  • Keep the Management informed of any site-related issues.
  • Shut down any machinery or equipment if there is an immediate safety risk or if the company is not adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure that all equipment is consistently in optimal working condition and that all necessary health and safety protocols are followed.
  • Complete any scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as specified by the manufacturer.
  • Implement any corrective actions regarding machinery or site maintenance as directed.
  • Maintain the workshop in an orderly fashion and ensure that necessary parts and tools are securely stored on-site.
  • Coordinate with relevant manufacturers when addressing maintenance and machinery concerns.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities performed on equipment and machinery, and maintain a Service Schedule for Management.
  • Assist in maintaining a service schedule for all vehicles and machinery to prevent operational disruptions and uphold health and safety standards.
  • Strictly adhere to health and safety procedures while performing maintenance tasks to ensure personal safety.
  • Proactively advise the Management team on maintenance and safety recommendations.
  • Oversee all areas of the facility, including parking lots and boundaries, ensuring they are well-maintained for staff and visitors.
  • Be available to respond to emergency situations within the facility.
  • Support the maintenance department at other locations as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am - 4 pm

Occasional Saturday Work: 7 am - 12 pm
