Join Our Culinary Team as a Trainee Chef

Ed Cornwell is thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Trainee Chef to become part of our vibrant kitchen team.
If you are new to the culinary world and lack prior experience in hospitality, there’s no need to worry. We value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, and we will provide comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills.

Your Learning Journey

As a Trainee Chef, you will embark on a structured apprenticeship program where you will:

  • Engage in food preparation tasks such as washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients as directed.
  • Cook and present dishes according to established specifications.
  • Implement food rotation practices, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.
  • Prepare and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations.
  • Contribute to kitchen cleanliness, upholding a tidy and organized workspace.

While previous experience in catering is advantageous, it is not a requirement. If you have a passion for food, are motivated, and enjoy working as part of a team, we can teach you everything else you need to know. Our training partners will guide you throughout your culinary journey.
