About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as the UK Service Line Director for Contaminated Land. As a key member of our European and global Site Solutions service line, you will be responsible for the operation, development, and growth of our UK 'Site Solutions' service line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Instil purpose and set the direction for the UK Site Solutions Service Line, leading by example and fostering a culture of openness and inclusion.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Lead collaboration with other Ramboll Markets, Geographies, Service Lines, and Sectors to bring the best of Ramboll to our clients.
  • People Management: Create a culture of pastoral care, performance, reward, development, and training for the people within the service line.
  • Resource Management: Facilitate resource management as a national team and plan and lead recruitment for the service line.
  • Compliance and Governance: Implement Ramboll's governance, project management, and compliance processes in the service line and instil the Ramboll Leadership Principles in the way we work.
  • Client Engagement: Lead selected client engagement and management, and support others to develop and grow trusted advisory relationships with our clients.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: A Master's degree in an environmental discipline is advantageous.
  • Driving Licence: A full driving licence is required.
  • Project Management Experience: Financial and technical project management experience is essential.
  • Leadership Experience: Project ownership and direction, including project-related health and safety, is required.
  • Department Management: Experience in department or P&L management is necessary.
  • Workload Management: Managing workload, deliverables, and resources across multiple projects is a key requirement.
