Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 driver to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle to make scheduled deliveries and collections for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class 2 delivery vehicle to make deliveries and collections
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to complete around 60 drops per day
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections
  • Handle packages with care to prevent damage and ensure accurate delivery
  • Complete necessary paperwork and digital documentation for each delivery and collection
  • Adhere to all relevant traffic and safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers
  • Assist with loading and unloading packages onto and from the delivery vehicle
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience with a relevant licence (Category C)
  • Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Ability to handle physical tasks, such as manual handling of heavy parcels
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with the transport team
  • Strong familiarity with local routes and areas
  • Hard-working, reliable, and flexible for hours
