About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Financial Manager to join our team at i2i Recruitment Consultancy. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the finance function across our operations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of management accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and comprehend the company's key financial metrics, including profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and other financial reports.
- Oversee the finance team, mentor staff, and be accountable for their performance, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Manage capital, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including Liquidated Damages schedules and warranty schedules.
- Focus on manufacturing costs, including accurate absorption of costs, considering factors like standard costs, average time of completion, and actual labour efficiency.
Requirements:
- CIMA or ACCA qualified, or within 6 months of completing studies.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
- Previous experience in Finance Management or as a Management Accountant, with a proven track record of success.
- Advanced IT skills, especially in Excel, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights.
- Confidence in managing a small team and collaborating with senior stakeholders, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
