Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Connex Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils in a small group or one-to-one setting, assisting the class teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment, and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with their learning, promoting academic and personal growth
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring a high-quality learning experience
  • Help implement behaviour management strategies, promoting positive relationships and a safe learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom culture, fostering a sense of community and belonging
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children in an education setting is desirable
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards helping students achieve their potential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff
  • A DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
