Join one of the UK's premier providers of sophisticated sterilisation and quality assurance equipment as a Field Service Engineer. This role involves extensive travel across the UK and Ireland, where you will be part of a dynamic and growing field service engineering team.


As a Field Service Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to visit client locations within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including autoclaves, sterilizers, reverse osmosis systems, and steam generators.


Key Responsibilities:
• Travel throughout the UK and Ireland, including overnight stays.


• Conduct preventative maintenance, calibration, and technical support to meet the high standards expected by our clients.

• Execute fault-finding and repair tasks as assigned by management.
• Prepare and manage service and calibration documentation as required.
• Oversee specific service spare parts.
• Handle administrative duties such as reporting, expense claims, and timesheets.
• Ensure proper management of the company’s equipment, including testing and computing devices.
• Assist in training new Field Service Engineers.
• Provide Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) support as necessary.
• Perform additional administrative tasks as needed, including protocol reviews and document creation in line with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Experience Required:

• ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronic, etc.).
• A multi-skilled engineer with experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining large-scale electro-mechanical machinery.
• Background in industries such as FMCG, military (Navy, REME, RAF, etc.), automation, robotics, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, semiconductors, or oil and gas.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required.

Additional Requirements:
• Valid UK driving license.
