Job Summary:

Katherine Shields Private Staff Ltd is seeking an experienced Housekeeper and Driver couple to join our team in a part-time residence in Oxfordshire. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of the household, including housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and driving responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and organization
  • Meal preparation for the family, including healthy and fresh meals
  • Driving duties, including airport and school runs, as well as assisting with household tasks
  • Maintenance of the coalfired boiler, including keeping it filled and ensuring it is properly maintained
  • Proxy parenting for two teenage daughters, including childcare and educational support
  • Teamwork with the employed gardening couple to maintain the garden and ensure the smooth operation of the household

Requirements:

  • Experience in housekeeping and driving
  • Flexibility and ability to work well in a team
  • Child-friendly and able to provide proxy parenting support
  • Ability to maintain the coalfired boiler and perform other household tasks
  • Good communication and organizational skills
