Urology Consultant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urology Consultant to join our clinical team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care, maintaining a high standard of clinical practice, and contributing to the development of our urology services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert diagnostic and treatment services for patients with urological conditions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of clinical governance policies
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
- Engage in continuing professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest advances in urology
- Contribute to the development of our urology services and participate in quality improvement initiatives

We are looking for a Urology Consultant with the following qualifications and experience:
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
- FRCS (Urol) or equivalent qualification
- Broad range of experience in general elective and emergency urology, including a subspecialty to complement existing ones
- Ability to offer and be accountable for full and independent expert diagnostic opinion
- Experience of supervising undergraduates, doctors in training, and other colleagues
