Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant to join our team in East London/Essex. As a Tax Consultant, you will play a key role in providing tax advice and support to our clients, and will be responsible for a range of tax-related tasks, including tax compliance, tax planning, and tax consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Tax Manager: Assist the Tax Manager in completing tax returns and other tax-related tasks.
2. Provide Tax Advice: Provide tax advice and support to clients, including individuals and businesses.
3. Liaise with Clients and Third Parties: Liaise with clients, government bodies, and third parties by verbal and written communication.
4. Carry out Tax Compliance Work: Carry out tax compliance work in line with the level of skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Qualified ATT with good technical competence.
2. Experience: 2 years' plus experience within a tax team, ideally in a mixed tax role.
3. Skills and Knowledge: Exposure to personal tax (essential) and ideally an understanding of corporate tax.
