Job Description

Service Manager

Orwell Housing Association is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Service Manager to lead our Supported Housing Scheme in Cambridge. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our service users receive an excellent level of support that uses a strengths-based approach and is centered around their aims and aspirations.

You will work closely with our support staff to ensure that they feel safe, happy with the service they are receiving, and have the widest opportunities available to them to enhance their lives. This includes supporting staff to work with people with complex and emotional needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in housing support and a proven track record of delivering high-quality services. You will be responsible for leading on the delivery of a strengths-based support service, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement through robust quality assurance and reflective practice.

You will also be responsible for delivering a robust housing management service, ensuring the maximization of income and good budgetary control. Additionally, you will lead on the delivery of a safe environment that adheres to all health and safety legislation and embeds safe processes and policies.

As a Service Manager, you will be an inspiring leader who can motivate and coach your team to achieve their best. You will be responsible for ensuring that our service users receive the highest level of support and that our staff are equipped to provide this support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the delivery of a strengths-based support service
  • Ensure that our service users receive an excellent level of support
  • Work closely with support staff to ensure they feel safe and happy
  • Deliver a robust housing management service
  • Lead on the delivery of a safe environment
  • Be an inspiring leader and motivate your team
