Gas Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gas Engineer to join our team at Example Recruitment. As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing and repairs on our models of boiler, working closely with our team to deliver excellent customer service and meet our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Annual servicing of boilers to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently
  • Attending breakdown callouts to resolve issues promptly and minimize downtime
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Working towards KPIs and supporting our field sales initiatives to drive business growth
  • Following all company procedures and processes to ensure compliance and quality
Requirements:
  • Gas qualifications held for a minimum of 5 years, with a strong understanding of domestic ACS: CCN1 and CENWAT
  • Basic electrical knowledge and experience using a multimeter to diagnose and repair electrical issues
  • No out-of-hours call-out rota, ensuring a healthy work-life balance
  • Company bonus scheme based on engineer efficiency and overtime, paid monthly on top of salary
  • OTE £60,000+ per annum, with opportunities for career development and progression
  • Van (with private use) and fuel card, allowing for convenient and efficient travel
