Job Description

**Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly and Integration**

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.

  • Compile and update manufacturing instructions to ensure accurate and efficient production processes.
  • Design, commission, and validate tooling to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Support the industrial validation process using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and First Article Inspection (FAI) techniques.
  • Resolve technical issues during manufacturing to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
  • Implement route card changes due to rework and manage configuration control by incorporating design modifications into manufacturing instructions.
  • Support the non-conformance process using SAP and ensure compliance with company processes and procedures.

**Requirements**

  • Technical engineering or craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21.
  • Further education certificate to HNC or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience in an engineering discipline.
  • Ability to interpret design drawings to produce manufacturing build instructions for skilled and semi-skilled operators.
  • Experience in electronic sub-assembly manufacture through to system-level builds.
  • Knowledge of assembling small/miniature electro-mechanical actuation systems.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to understand and respond to customer requirements.
  • Knowledge of company processes and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills at various organizational levels.
  • Manual handling and ESD training.
