Position Overview

Bubb Talent is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager to join a reputable firm specializing in Building Services. Role Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the effective management of mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects, ensuring that all initiatives are executed with the highest standards of quality, safety, and timeliness.

  • Project Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of mechanical and electrical projects, from initial planning through to installation and final commissioning.
  • Team Leadership: Direct project teams comprising engineers, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to ensure that project objectives align with their expectations.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and resource distribution.
  • Quality Control: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain rigorous safety protocols throughout all phases of the project.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess relevant mechanical qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Hold an SMSTS certification.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Building Services, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in managing mechanical or M&E projects.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Show proven leadership capabilities with a history of successful project team management.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving abilities to achieve operational goals.
  • Have a solid understanding of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards.
