Job Title: Principal, Agile Delivery Manager

About the Role

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is seeking a highly experienced Principal, Agile Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale ERP Transformation projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing agile teams to deliver projects in line with the required standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage agile teams to deliver ERP Transformation projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Work closely with Scrum team Product Owners to build a clear roadmap for delivery, aligned to business value.
  • Collaborate with the Director, Head of COMPASS Transformation program, ePMO, and business project managers to align delivery workstreams and resources.
  • Manage phased delivery with multiple releases into the production environment, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Develop and implement effective delivery governance, including stage gates, budget estimation, and financial controls.
  • Facilitate cross-functional groups to plan and deliver initiatives, identifying the best methodology for each team.
  • Ensure initiatives are appropriately resourced with the necessary skills and expertise.
  • Follow and deliver to the standards set by the Agile Delivery practice, ensuring all delivery risks and issues are captured and mitigated.
  • Report progress status as per requirements by the PMO, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors and senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in leading and managing technology workstreams of large-scale complex SAP-enabled business transformation programmes.
  • Proven track record in delivering continuous value within agreed constraints, with a minimum of 2 agile programmes of £10m or more.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical detail in a non-technical manner.
  • Strong understanding of commercial arrangements, including negotiation with third parties and procurement processes.
  • Experience of end-to-end delivery of initiatives, including budget management, recruitment, scoping, planning, tracking, and bringing to closure.
