Laundry & Wardrobe Operations Manager

The Peninsula London is seeking an experienced Laundry & Wardrobe Manager to oversee the hotel's linen, guest laundry, and staff uniforms. This role will work closely with the Executive Housekeeper and the Director of Rooms to ensure high standards of service and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Laundry Operations
- Manage the quality and upkeep of all hotel linen, including F&B linen and uniforms.
- Ensure cleanliness and manage soiled, stained, or damaged linen.
- Guest Laundry Services
- Provide high-quality laundry services to guests.
- Uniform Management
- Manage hotel uniforms, including quality, issuance, and inventory.
- Laundry Facilities and Maintenance
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of laundry and valet areas.
- Implement and maintain laundry policies and procedures.
- Ensure safe work practices in liaison with engineering.
- Contract Management
- Manage the relationship with the outsourced laundry company.
- Hold regular meetings to ensure quality and minimize discrepancies.
- Revenue and Cost Control
- Create a laundry program to generate revenue and minimize costs.
- Team Management
- Lead, develop, and motivate a diverse laundry/valet team.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Laundry Manager in luxury hotels.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to create revenue streams and cost control.
- People leadership and training experience.
- Self-starter with exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
