Role Overview:

As a Spa and Wellness Specialist, reporting to the Spa and Wellness Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a range of wellness therapies, massages, and beauty treatments. Collaboration with other department heads will be essential to ensure the success and profitability of the spa facilities while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Your work schedule will be from Wednesday to Sunday, totaling 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver beauty treatments that meet established standards while adhering to specified treatment durations.
  • Provide engaging wellness therapies, massages, and beauty services.
  • Promote retail products and conduct monthly inventory checks of spa supplies.
  • Participate in relevant training sessions as required.
  • Exhibit a genuine customer focus and appreciation for the guest experience.
  • Achieve all agreed-upon targets related to Key Performance Indicators.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the spa at all times.
  • Comply with all regulations governing the operation of the spa facilities.
  • Prioritize the health and safety of both guests and staff at all times.
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures, including health and hygiene standards.
  • Upsell treatments and retail products to maximize revenue.
  • Manage the online booking system to optimize treatment opportunities.
  • Follow hotel purchasing standards to ensure compliance with audits.
  • Review and respond to guest feedback, implementing improvements to enhance satisfaction.
  • Ensure all interactions with guests in the spa area meet or exceed the hotel's operational standards.

  • Skilled in promoting and selling treatment programs to various clientele.
  • High standards of personal grooming.

  • Proficient in delivering high-quality facials, massages, and hot stone treatments.
  • A proactive individual who can work independently.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reside within a reasonable distance from the hotel.

Education & Qualifications:

Minimum Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
