Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Asset Inspector to join our team at LRQA. As an Engineering Asset Inspector, you will be responsible for assessing the design, manufacture, and in-service aspects of engineering assets against agreed codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform technical inspections/assessments against defined specifications/scope and provide advice for service delivery within agreed parameters that include budget constraints and contractual requirements.
  • Produce reports/certificates/documents to an agreed format and within agreed timescales.
  • Undertake and maintain agreed personal authorisations, follow up training plans, perform activity monitoring/document monitoring, and pursue continuous professional development.
  • Conduct all activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Shall possess appropriate trade/technical/vocational qualifications/certification, including job-specific certifications such as ASME, PED, etc.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree from a recognised University (HNC/HND will be considered depending on level of experience).
  • Will possess sufficient, relevant previous working experience to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the relevant requirements, knowledge, and application (Welding, Fabrication, Materials, Machinery, Well Control Equipment, etc.).
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Competent in MS Office suite of software.
  • Years' relevant working experience preferred or equivalent knowledge.
