Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team at Vertu Facilities Management Ltd. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems across various sites.

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

Compensation: £40,400 plus vehicle, with travel expenses covered from door to door, along with an excellent benefits package.

Location: Liverpool

Company Background: Our organization is a leading facilities management contractor, recognized for delivering comprehensive building maintenance services to clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical and electrical (M&E) services at designated sites.
  • Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including emergency lighting tests, fire alarm checks, lamp replacements, basic plumbing, and general fabric repairs.
  • Conduct electrical maintenance, both PPM and reactive, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Work independently, taking responsibility for planned and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks.
  • Possess the capability to carry out a diverse range of additional maintenance activities as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Must be electrically qualified, holding either the 17th or 18th edition certification.
  • Experience in performing PPM and reactive maintenance tasks is essential.
  • Possess a solid understanding of mechanical and HVAC maintenance.
  • Reside locally and be willing to travel throughout the region.
  • Demonstrate strong IT skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • A valid UK driving license is required.
