Job Title: Senior Healthcare Assistant

Atrium Healthcare is seeking experienced Senior Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to individuals in various settings. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will have the opportunity to lead and direct a team of carers on shift, providing exceptional support and care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administering medication to service users
  • Leading a shift and directing a team of staff with the daily routine
  • Providing one-to-one support and supervision to individuals
  • Aiding all service users in need of assistance
  • Promoting independency to residents with day-to-day decisions
  • Working collaboratively with other staff members and professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of interventions and outcomes
  • Providing emotional support and practical assistance to individuals to help them achieve their goals and aspirations
  • Working closely in a holistic approach to care
  • Attending social outings when required
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 months UK care experience as a senior
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations
  • Provide a supportive and structured environment that promotes positive change
  • A sense of humour and the ability to bring a smile to the service users face
  • A can-do attitude
  • Excellent timekeeping skills
