Join Our Team as a Commercial Finance Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team at Sharpsmart. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting commercial decision-making through financial analysis and providing recommendations to senior leaders to optimize and expand business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, and reporting to identify trends, benchmarking, and to increase financial performance.
  • Support cost-analysis and price modelling.
  • Track and determine financial status by analysing actual results in comparison with forecasts.
  • Effectively present findings and recommendations to the Commercial Finance Manager and Business Unit Leaders.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting in support of business initiatives and performance.
  • Aid in budgeting and expenditure planning processes.
  • Develop experience in ERP and business intelligence systems.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience either through internships, work placements, or employment in financial data analysis.
  • Experience reviewing and analysing costs, trends, profitability, margins, estimates, and contracts.
  • Experience using ERP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools advantageous.
  • Microsoft Office Suite - well-versed in Excel especially.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel.
