Job Overview

Pure Fitout is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team of professionals in delivering high-quality fitout services. As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in the co-ordination and delivery of commercial and bespoke fitout projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality wood components.
• Properly load and unload raw materials, ensuring efficient production and minimizing waste.
• Perform tasks such as drilling and milling steel, using gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Read technical drawings and understand specifications to produce accurate results.
• Make necessary adjustments to produce a better result, ensuring high-quality production.
• Organize, record, and submit all details of work carried out on relevant work orders for weekly timesheets.
• Take instruction from the workshop manager and carry out tasks in a professional and efficient manner.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe working order, adhering to the internal quality system.
• Work within the health and safety policy and guidelines laid down in the workshop, ensuring a safe and responsible work environment.
• Maintain good housekeeping and a safe work environment, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.

Requirements:

• Experience in CNC machining and woodworking.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tolerance requirements.
• Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
