About the Role

This is a distinctive opportunity designed to elevate your career within the coffee and beverage sector. This newly created role is ideal for a seasoned Barista who is passionate about coffee culture. You will work creatively alongside our UK Foodservice sales team, assisting our clients with enticing beverage menu concepts that will enhance the appeal of our Davinci Gourmet beverage brand.

  • This position is part of the Kerry Europe Foodservice Culinary team and involves direct interaction with customers.
  • You will be responsible for crafting hot and cold beverage menu applications utilizing our Davinci Gourmet brand within regional chains and Independent Coffee channels across the UK and Ireland.
  • A thorough understanding of the customer's business model and requirements, along with our Davinci Gourmet brand and technology portfolio, is essential.
  • This role will collaborate closely with the RD&A and marketing teams to create successful marketing initiatives, strategic product presentations, and menu applications that influence customer purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the UK&I commercial team to target strategic growth customers by generating demand for the Davinci Gourmet brand through coffee and menu development expertise.
  • Contribute to our proactive innovation strategy with application insights and assist in the development of menu applications.
  • Engage in the renovation of the Davinci Gourmet brand, including benchmarking and sensory analysis.
  • Support brand marketing campaigns tailored for individual customers, showcasing current menu trends aligned with our brands.
  • Establish strong strategic relationships with key customer roles in R&D, operations, and Baristas.


Competencies:

  • Bring a Barista-led creative and innovative perspective to the team, leveraging knowledge and experience from the sector.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach to fostering customer engagement.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, seeking opportunities for menu development and growth.
  • Build robust relationships internally and externally to support the overall objectives of the role.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the UK&I, with travel comprising 70% of the role.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Accredited Culinary Arts, food and beverage Certification, or equivalent.
  • Experience in food and beverage development or menu development, ideally within the foodservice market.
  • A minimum of 5 years in the foodservice sector or food and beverage industry.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in sales or customer management.
  • Third-level degree or equivalent industry training.
  • Valid Driving Licence.
