Empowering Learning - Support Assistant for SEMH Schools

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Support Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils in our SEMH schools, helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in the classroom, helping to engage students and promote positive behaviour.
  • Work closely with pupils to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Assist with the implementation of behaviour management strategies and interventions.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities.
  • Provide individual support to pupils, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
