Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: You will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records, monitoring expiration dates, and ensuring proper stock rotation to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Quality Control: You will perform regular quality checks and provide final accuracy checks on dispensed medicines to ensure the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
- Collaboration: You will work closely with the pharmacy team, pharmacists, delivery personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: You must have previous experience working in a pharmacy environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management systems and quality control procedures.
- Skills and Qualifications: You must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads. Secondary school examinations or equivalent are also required.
- Desirable Requirements: Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and storage requirements, NVQ 2 qualification, and ACT/ACDA qualification are highly desirable.
