Civil Engineer - HPC Project

CCL Global is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join their team for the HPC Project at Hinkley Point C. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in civil building design and ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs that meet the project's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the civil design team in the development of design drawings and models.
  • Verify the consistency of input data and modify reinforced concrete structure designs as required.
  • Maintain the client's QA procedures and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Liaise with colleagues in Paris and Bristol to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage engineering changes and ensure that all design updates are implemented correctly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering, with a focus on nuclear civil work or complex structures.
  • Strong knowledge of structural civil work, civil design, and construction.
  • Experience in design of concrete structures and detailed design or conceptual design in an office or on a civil construction site.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English, with French advantageous.
