Company Overview:

Pertemps Bristol Commercial is seeking a skilled Legal Biller to join their dynamic and supportive revenue team. This role offers excellent benefits and flexible working policies in a prestigious legal firm in Bristol.

Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing various aspects of the working capital cycle, including revenue assistance, credit control, and bill production and dispatch.
  • Overseeing e-bill management ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Preparing, distributing, and ensuring compliance with billing and SLAs.
  • Handling queries efficiently through direct or shared mailboxes, proactively escalating issues to resolution.
  • Maintaining data integrity of key data items essential for efficient billing processes.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous billing experience, preferably within the legal or professional services sectors.
  • Familiarity with Solicitors Accounts Rules and VAT for law firms billing is highly desirable.
  • Confident demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both under supervision and independently.
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Excel; knowledge of Aderant Expert or similar billing software is advantageous.
