As a key member of our HR team, you will play a vital role in attracting and retaining top talent for The Outdoors Group Ltd. This role will work closely with hiring managers across the organization to ensure our recruitment strategies align with our company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
  • Work with the Head of People & Culture to conduct salary benchmarking for roles across the organization, informing effective recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure diversity sourcing by promoting an inclusive hiring process that values varied perspectives and experiences.
  • Organize and manage selection days, working with senior leaders to deliver a professional experience that reflects our company culture.
  • Attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline and establish relationships with external agencies.
  • Collaborate with the Employer Brand & Communication Officer to implement employer branding strategies that attract high-calibre candidates.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends to optimize recruitment strategies.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and employee turnover rates, to improve recruitment strategies.
  • Manage internal recruitment processes, ensuring alignment with our Equal Opportunity Policy.
  • Contribute to exit processes, gaining insight into staff attrition and working with the L&D Officer to improve retention.
  • Ensure compliance with our Safeguarding, GDPR, and Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work remotely and with limited supervision.
  • Experience in working within HR and/or Recruitment.
  • Experience of talent development and talent pool creation.
  • Experience of website management.
  • GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or equivalent numeracy and literacy skills.
