About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Health Play Specialist to join our Play Team within the Play Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing safe and high-quality play programs that cater to the diverse needs of patients, including emotional, social, developmental, and creative needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to referrals from the multidisciplinary team to provide support for children and young people through play preparation and play programs.
  • Support patients through procedures using therapeutic play and distraction therapies.
  • Supervise play assistants, students, and volunteers throughout the hospital.
