Key Responsibilities:

  • This role involves working as an AV Systems Installation Specialist specifically within the medical and healthcare sectors.
  • Your primary duties will include executing new installations, as well as conducting scheduled and emergency maintenance in both private and public healthcare facilities.
  • The equipment you will handle ranges from standard audiovisual setups to advanced virtual presence technology used in critical medical procedures.
  • While the role covers various locations, a significant portion of the work will be concentrated in urban healthcare settings.
  • This position is home-based, requiring travel to various sites, which may include occasional overnight stays to optimize work efficiency.
  • You will engage with public and private healthcare institutions, as well as educational facilities related to medical training.
  • Your work environment may include surgical theaters, consultation areas, lecture halls, and conference rooms, providing a diverse range of experiences.
  • Comprehensive initial training will be provided, along with ongoing opportunities for career advancement.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £30,000.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Field service experience with audiovisual, IT, networking, or related technical equipment is essential, preferably with a background in programmable systems.
  • The ideal candidate should be hands-on, enjoying the process of complete installations from inception to final setup.
  • Experience in a field-based installation role is preferred, though candidates with relevant single-site experience will also be considered.
  • Strong IT and networking skills are crucial, as all systems are interconnected and programmable; foundational knowledge in these areas is necessary.
  • A positive attitude and customer service experience are vital, as these are key components of the role.
  • Applicants should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the operational area.
  • A valid driving license is required.
  • Eligibility to work in the region is mandatory; sponsorship is not available.
