About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Maxim Recruitment. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing multiple small to medium-sized projects, as well as leading and developing a small team of junior quantity surveyors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a junior team of quantity surveyors
  • Provide cost estimates and schedules of work
  • Prepare builders' quantities and bills of quantities
  • Conduct estimating and feasibility studies
  • Prepare tender and contract documentation
  • Carry out valuations and cost reporting
  • Prepare final accounts
Requirements
  • Chartered quantity surveyor (MRICS or equivalent)
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and leading a team
  • Strong cost estimating and commercial skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
