Job Description

Job Title: Forklift Operator - Warehouse Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit Forklift Operator to join our team at Streamline Services Consultancy Limited. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a counterbalance forklift to unload containers and palletize bags of food produce up to 70kg.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload containers using a counterbalance forklift
  • Palletize bags of food produce up to 70kg
  • Assist with warehouse operations as required
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team

Working Hours:

Our ideal candidate will be available to work 8am starts, working till 4pm, 5 days out of 7. This may include occasional flexibility to accommodate shipping delays.

Physical Demands:

This is a physically demanding role, requiring the ability to move sacks of coffee weighing up to 70kg. You will be required to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a high level of physical activity.

Compensation:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of £13.00 per hour.

Working Environment:

You will be working with a variety of products, including timber panel products, cocoa, and coffee sacks.
