Public Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Public Health Nurse to join our team at a category B prison in Liverpool. As a Public Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of our prison communities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on prevention, promotion, and protection of our prison communities
- Develop and implement health promotion activities, including proactive clinics and awareness campaigns
- Conduct IPC audits and training on site
- Ensure the effective and consistent delivery of national screening programmes, health checks, screening, and recording public health activity
- First Level Registered Nurse with NMC Registration
- Passion for working in public health
- UKPHR registration or Public Health Qualification desirable
- Knowledge of Public Health issues and infection prevention and control measures
- Flexible approach to shifts and duties
