Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Economics Teacher to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. As an Economics Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Economics to students across Key Stages 4 and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Economics to students across Key Stages 4 and 5
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Economics Teacher with a formal teaching qualification (SCITT, PGCE, Teach First)
  • Graded Good to Outstanding in recent lesson observations
  • UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Ability to make lessons engaging, creative, and bring passion for the subject to life
  • Strong subject knowledge with high standards
  • 1st class or 2:1 from a reputable University with an Economics-based degree
