The Centre for Health & Disability Assessments, part of Merco Recruitment, is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our innovative team. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based assessments for a diverse range of patients with complex needs, providing an opportunity to refine your clinical evaluation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct both file reviews and in-person assessments of clients concerning various benefits, compiling comprehensive reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Analyze medical documentation in written or electronic formats to determine the necessity of face-to-face evaluations, focusing on how disabilities impact daily activities related to work.
- Utilize IT software to support clinical decision-making during assessments and documentation.
- Prepare detailed reports to assist DWP Decision Makers in making informed choices regarding benefit applications.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Strong foundational clinical knowledge and experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A compassionate, professional demeanor.
- Proficient in computer and IT applications.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a targeted team.
