Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Caretaker/Cleaner to join our team at Stirling Council. As a key member of our Facilities Management department, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality caretaking and cleaning service to our sheltered housing complex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a caretaking and cleaning service, including key-holding, to support the sheltered housing community.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to residents and colleagues.
  • Operate and maintain equipment and tools as required.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Basic working knowledge of IT and willingness to undertake training.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and work at heights.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children/Adults.
