We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Global Transaction and Banking Services team in the UK. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all GTB UK related activities and defining and implementing GTB strategy in the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Implement GTPS strategy in the UK, ensuring alignment with global objectives and goals.
- Liaise with SG UK Chief Country Officer and other SG business lines to drive cross-selling and business growth.
- Represent SG vis-à-vis local trade & cash management professional associations and external events, promoting our services and expertise.
- Monitor new business development projects for GTB Segments in the UK, including key mandates and product development.
- Supervise the implementation of GTPS standards among the different GTB activities present in the UK, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain and adapt the organisation according to budgets, delivering the level of service, business growth, profitability, and risk taking expected.
- Manage the teams operationally, ensuring hiring, training, motivation, mobility, and appraisal.
- Lead and support actively local and global sales forces, contributing to local and international marketing efforts using GTB global processes, tools, and network.
- Systematically seek to implement new deals efficiently, secure, and optimize middle office processes.
- Leverage GTB business lines' products and services to deliver high-quality end-to-end services to clients, complying with local regulation and legislation.
- Monitor financials and applicable commercial KPIs, establishing and meeting yearly budgets in coordination with GTPS Head Office and entities' interlocutors.
- Chair the GTPS UK Executive Committee, discussing and dealing with issues of significance and escalating them to SG UK Chief Country Officer as needed.
- Monitor counterparty, operational, and financial crime risks as first Line of Defence, using applicable SG and GTB-specific processes and tools, liaising with local Compliance and Risk departments.
- Significant track record of senior management skills and experience, including in an international context.
- Excellent knowledge of banking industry and banking practices.
- Thorough knowledge of Global Transaction & Banking business lines, products, and solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of the Securities Services industry.
- Key client relationship management.
- Client-facing skills, ability to understand client needs and act in their best interest.
- Strong regulatory knowledge.
