Your responsibilities will include:

  • Upholding high standards of quality in the nursery environment, resources, and experiences provided to children.
  • Promoting inclusivity by utilizing diverse equipment and resources to cater to the educational needs of children, integrating forest school principles into your activities.
  • Taking on key carer duties for assigned children.
  • Ensuring all children receive enriching and stimulating experiences tailored to their developmental stages.
  • Preparing and facilitating children's activities.
  • In the absence of the Team/Room Leader, managing the playroom effectively.
  • Contributing to the nursery's compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.
  • Supporting and mentoring students and unqualified staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality childcare practices.
