Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Laboratory Analyst to join our team. As a Graduate Laboratory Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the science department of a prestigious independent school.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment for science lessons, working closely with other technicians to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
- Conduct risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment and adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols.
- Manage stock levels and dispose of waste appropriately, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the science department to develop and implement effective laboratory procedures and protocols.
Requirements
- A science-based degree with a minimum of 2:1 or above.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in an educational environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and adults alike.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Subject to an Enhanced DBS Certificate check and satisfactory references.
