Job Overview
Stott and May is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FTTx Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all field activities are carried out in accordance with agreed designs, working practices, and health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site quality, health and safety, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Oversee the handling of waste material in accordance with existing and applicable legislation.
- Collaborate with the Rollout PM/Construction Manager to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and implement effective quality control measures to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience on large UK FTTx projects.
- Solid understanding of SROF/HAUC regulations.
- Full UK driving license.
Qualifications:
- SA001 Safety Overhead.
- SA002 Safety Underground.
- SSSTS/SMSTS.
- Knowledge and experience of health and safety practices for traffic management, excavations, and underground asset avoidance.
