Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Nurse to join our specialist Addictions Clinic in Dagenham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing front-line clinical care to service users, including a thorough rehabilitation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to service users, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each service user.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including vaccinations, BBV screening, HIV and Hepatitis screening, ECGs, and alcohol and opiate detoxification.
  • Develop and deliver health promotion and rehabilitation programs to support service users in achieving their recovery goals.

Requirements:

  • RGN or RMN qualified Nurse with relevant experience.
  • Demonstrable experience or interest in addictions.
  • Titration experience is highly desired.
  • Current and valid registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK.
