Job Overview

At ARM, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Machine Learning for Verification (ML4V) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in empowering our engineering teams to create products using the power of machine learning and statistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Learning Process Optimization: You will be responsible for building and optimizing machine learning processes across the entire ML lifecycle, from proof-of-concept to production.
  • Scalable Solution Development: You will design and develop scalable and resilient solutions using open-source Python libraries and distributed computing across on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with our diverse teams, including verification engineers and data scientists, to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication of your work.
Requirements
  • Python Experience: You must have demonstrable experience using Python to deploy and run machine learning processes in a production environment.
  • Machine Learning Knowledge: You must have a strong understanding of statistics and machine learning concepts, including dimensionality reduction, hypothesis testing, imputation, clustering methods, tree-based algorithms, and neural networks.
  • Data Science and Machine Learning Frameworks: You must have experience with data science and machine learning frameworks, such as Pandas and Scikit-Learn.
  • Cloud Platforms: You must have experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Software Development and CI/CD: You must have experience with software development and CI/CD processes, including Git, testing, and releasing code.
  • Linux Environment: You must be comfortable working in a Linux environment.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Advanced Degree: A master's or PhD degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, physics, statistics, or mathematics, is highly desirable.
  • Imbalanced Datasets: Experience working with imbalanced datasets is highly desirable.
  • Distributed Computing: Experience with distributed computing using PySpark is highly desirable.
  • Databases: Experience with databases, including NoSQL and SQL, is highly desirable.
  • Serving Models: Experience serving models through a service-oriented architecture is highly desirable.
  • Streaming Environment: Experience serving machine learning models in a streaming environment is highly desirable.
  • Mentoring and Coaching: Experience mentoring and coaching colleagues is highly desirable.
