RSM's Public and Third Sector group is a leading provider of tax services to charities, schools, colleges, universities, local and central government, the NHS, emergency services, housing associations, and membership organizations. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional tax advice and support to our clients, helping them navigate the complexities of tax law and regulations.

As a member of our Tax team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from household names to smaller organizations, and contribute to the growth and success of our business. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that values individuality, fresh thinking, flexibility, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Partners and Directors in delivering tax services to our clients, including corporation tax compliance and advisory work.
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality tax advice and support to clients, addressing queries and enquiries from HMRC.
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing value-added tax advice and guidance.
  • Contribute to business development activities, working with Partners and Directors to identify new opportunities and grow our client base.
  • Develop your skills and knowledge, working with experienced professionals to stay up-to-date with the latest tax developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in the public and third sector, with a passion for delivering tax services to these clients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in tax, including a strong understanding of corporation tax compliance and advisory work.
