About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our brand-new Accident Repair Bodyshop team in Wolverhampton. As an experienced MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, dismantling vehicles, and reassembling them with new parts as required.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you must be ATA Accredited, able to plan your workload effectively, and work skillfully and safely under pressure. You will also need to work as part of a team and on your own initiative with minimal supervision, be flexible in your approach, and continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs.
  • Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop.
  • Carry out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
  • Order replacement parts.
  • Re-assemble the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.
Requirements:
  • ATA Accreditation.
  • Ability to plan workload effectively.
  • Skilled and safe working under pressure.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Flexibility in approach.
  • Continual high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
What We Offer:
