Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Combo Pipe Welder to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality welding services using various techniques, including Sub Arc Welding, GTAW, and GMAW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up welding equipment parameters and processes as required by contract drawings and approved welding procedures.
- Maintain welders' traceability on work pieces when work is completed.
- Perform welding tasks as needed, adhering to standard procedures and quality control measures.
- Operate arch gouging equipment when required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding safety, productivity, and quality issues.
- Ensure the use of designated and correct weld wire per the WPS.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to good housekeeping practices.
- Take care of equipment, including welding machines and positioners.
- Achieve high production levels with good quality output.
- Emphasize safety at all times.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent welding skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
