About the Role:

Pavilion Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Pension Business Analyst to join our team. As a Pension Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in understanding business requirements, providing advice on potential technical solutions, and translating requirements into specifications suitable for use by system developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to gather business requirements and provide technical guidance on potential solutions.
  • Work with system developers to understand technical options, identify suitable solutions, and agree on specifications for system changes.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure system changes meet specifications and are safe for release.
  • Stay up-to-date with pension administration system functionality, including calculations, interfaces, processes, and self-service applications.
  • Lead analysis and development-related work-streams to support the delivery of major projects.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in pensions administration, policies, and procedures for CARE, Defined Benefit, and Defined Contribution schemes.
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and testing core aspects of pension administration systems, including data, calculations, processes, letters, and interfaces.
  • Proven track record of producing and reviewing system specifications, such as calculation specifications, process maps, and member output and reporting specifications.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and evaluate requirements and transform them into a comprehensible functional specification.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex issues to various audiences.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to work effectively within a team.
