Position Overview

GP Primary Choice Ltd (GPPC) is seeking a skilled and qualified phlebotomist to join our clinical team on a part-time basis, contributing 30 hours per week at our Clacton Diagnostic Hub.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to established guidelines and protocols to assist in the delivery of patient care programs.
  • Perform blood sample collections following training procedures, ensuring proper storage, labeling, documentation, and timely dispatch of samples.
  • Prioritize patient comfort and ensure their consent for blood sample collection.
  • Verify patient identification and confirm details with the patient.
  • Report any discrepancies or anomalies to a senior staff member.
  • Inform the clinical lead of any significant patient concerns.
